“Fate” is a term used by people in ancient times. To speak of inevitability, that is, what is inevitable. Similar to destiny.

Early humans observed that, things often happened that were beyond human control. Something beyond that control, then, they call fate.

Fate tends to be related to humans. That is, fate describes a condition beyond control that happens to a person.

Fate is a term to describe a condition that happens to someone, and it “seems” out of control. So, when you don’t know what cause you are experiencing, you can “assume” that it is fate. There are two words I quoted to invite a new question mark. And that we will discuss thoroughly in this article.

How to predict fate or how to know our fate? This is an interesting question. You don’t have to steal information from the sky, for that. You just have to look inside yourself. There are talents, tendencies, habits, and other factors. And it forms a pattern that will determine your destiny. You can even see very clearly what will happen to you in the future.

How to change fate?

When we understand the pattern of life that causes and determines fate, it allows us to change the map. And this is the essence of the material that we will discuss this time.

Fate is

Fate is a conclusion made by man, when he is unable to know the pattern / mechanism or cause of something that happens to him.

So, we can call fate a limit made by human thought, on something they do not yet know.

You may say that you are having a bad luck, because you have difficulty getting a job, even though you have enough skills and higher education. Up to a certain point you realize that the expertise you have is not needed anymore in the new era.

Your expertise may apply, to the past. However, it wasn’t in the present. Or not needed for the place and location where you are looking for work. And it may be needed for certain places and locations.

Fate is enough to be something that was very much believed in the old times. In fact, it is not uncommon for people to think that it is an absolute requirement that cannot be changed.

How Fate Works

Death from malaria, in the past, was an inevitable fate. Up to a certain point, scientists discovered the cause. And able to make a vaccine that can treat malaria.

Death from heart disease, is fate! Up to a certain point, humans are able to find out the causes and create something to overcome them.

There are many things, which used to be considered fate, are now able to be overcome.

In the early days, people believed that this “someone” was “the gods” or “God.”

Later, people passed down the identity of this “agent” and called it “fate.”

Thus, fate was then seen as an invisible force. That causes something to happen, and humans cannot stop it.

When a natural disaster strikes, for example, or when an accident occurs, or when good things happen unexpectedly, this is seen as “fate” in the operation.

Some people, such as astrologers, in attempting to provide an explanation for the “inevitable,” have even gone so far as to claim that “aliens” are controlling events on Earth.

So, we have phrases like “one’s fate written in the sky” and Shakespeare’s famous phrase in Romeo and Juliet, “star-crossed lovers,” to describe a young couple who “had bad luck.”

Change in Perception of Fate

The human brain is miraculous. Programmed by evolution through everything that happens. This is what then makes modern civilization begin to wonder about the “validity” of fate.

Now people, feeling that, there must be someone in control of events. But not fate!

In other words, we automatically think that, when something happened, something / someone caused it to happen.

Advances in our understanding of how the universe works, have helped us to see, that no invisible force is controlling events, and decide what happens and doesn’t happen.

All events have a cause, which, in turn, has a triggering factor, and so on, going back to the beginning of time.

In the field of philosophy, this principle of cause and effect is known as determinism. It is a better term than “fate,” because determinism, does not imagine an invisible force determining what happens, a force whose decisions are final and irreversible.

Determinism sees the chain of cause and effect as only one natural process. The concept of Chaos Theory tries to understand mathematically the processes by which various causes produce various effects. And how the chain of cause and effect unfolds.

Scientific understanding of the chain of cause and effect makes it unnecessary to use the term “fate”.

Or even blame God for giving “trials”, for the various events that we experience, for reasons that we make ourselves.

Although, people still use it, because of old mental habits. It’s hard to die and it’s hard to get rid of a way of thinking that is deeply rooted in human consciousness.

How to predict fate

As previously mentioned, fate is a condition that occurs due to causes, so to predict fate, we can identify the causes from the very beginning.

If you are old enough and have enough life experience, you can actually predict someone’s fate through their daily habits and patterns.

Your ability to read the patterns of human life, allows you to see the fate that will happen to someone.
